Item Description
11" tall w/silk-screened felt body (w/fabric hands) and hand-painted composition head. Ideal, and sold as a Macy's exclusive that had a very short shelf life in 1935. Small head variety. Front of body has small "The Three Stooges" name at lower left and "Larry" name on chest beside necktie and collar accents. Back of neck has raised "Larry - Ideal Doll" text. Tip of nose has 3/16" chip/flake and painted lips and one eye shows some edge flaking. Raised areas of Larry Fine's iconic crazy hair show paint wear. Silk-screening shows some scattered lt. wear and fabric hands have moderate dust soiling. VG overall. Among the rarest and most sought after Three Stooges merchandise. Very rare and the first we've offered in decades. See rare Three Stooges Pillsbury store sign, item #1951.
