Item Description
6x41" long waxed paper uncut strip of eight wrappers for the "Beatles Color Photos" set of 64 cards (ACC #R710-8b) issued by Topps in 1964. Each wrapper features same Beatles group illustration at center while left margins have four different designs; including Bazooka Gum ad while the other three offer seashell hobby kit, exploding battleship or cowboy boot ring premiums. Sheet has one or two fold lines between each wrapper design and some scattered additional fold lines. Bottom margin has uneven edge and wrapper design is incomplete although missing only a .25" wide by 1.5" piece from Beatles design. Entire strip is bright and clean. Fine overall. While a number of uncut sheets of the yellow wrapper Topps bw series have turned up, this sheet for the color series is a rarity for Beatles and non-sports collectors alike. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
