Item Description
18x25.5" w/"Gazette Steam Print, Antwerp, N.Y." in lower margin. Featuring graphic of eagle w/"Fisk & Brooks" banner in beak w/additional slogan "Our Homes Must Be Protected!" below. Advertising meetings in "Ellis Hall, Antwerp, Wednesday, September 19, 1888" that featured "Hon. W. Martin Jones" the Prohibition candidate for Governor as a speaker. An 8.5" horizontal tear at left center extending through "Ellis" and a 1.25" hole at center. Three vertical & one horizontal folds w/separations at edges, even age toning and handling wear. Good. Worthy of attention by a paper conservator. The only example we've seen in 53 years.
