Item Description
4" tall. c. 1931. Underside has company mark and incised number "493." This is the only figure in the series numbered in the 400's rather than the 500's or 600's. These figurines are rare, particularly in the US as they were never distributed here. This early figurine depicts Mickey with a more slender body than other Rosenthals and also has some pale gray shading to his body rather than being just black and white. He stands with hands on hips and behind him is a plant that his tail wraps around. This is the first of this figurine that we've been able to offer in 40 years. NM. $2000- $3000
