7.5" tall high quality radio. 1930s. On the front at each corner are attached aluminum pieces with different character images. Bottom center attachment reads "Emerson Radio And Television" along with Disney copyright. Die-cut aluminum grill plate depicts Mickey. Serial number plate attached to reverse. We were not able to get this to work but it appears as if the internal parts are complete. The original fabric-covered electric cord is worn with fraying. Speaker cover has 1.5" split. Both plastic knobs are original, each with interior hairline or two, one with edge chip. Body has moderate scattered paint wear and chipping along edges but radio remains structurally sound and still displays nicely. Appearance for display remains VF. These radios are scarce and were quite expensive in their day for a child's radio.
