Item Description
1.75" no maker. Light reverse oxidation, just slightly more than typical. This button is from his last year at Illinois, during which he denied rumors of a pro-career, but he did join the Chicago Bears of the NFL shortly after his final college game. On October 5, 1925 he appeared on a Time magazine cover. Cello surface is flat to the touch (not domed) and has very tiny surface wear traces seen only in reflected light. Full gloss and VF. Rare.
