Item Description
7/8" without dot screen and issued very shortly after Louis became champion in 1937. Muchinsky's book shows this exact image as #112, but that has a tabbed on brass frame and is in sepia tone whereas this is black and white. Right side curl, not seen from the front, has narrow cello and paper sliver off between 2-3:30 o'clock. Overall, VF. Probably his first real photo button as champ. Rare. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
