Item Description
Considered the most desirable of the Captain Action sets by Ideal, released c. 1967. Lot offered here is all original and includes - 11.25" tall Captain Action figure, Spider-Man Action costume, hood face mask, boots, utility belt, Spider Light (complete w/hook), Spider Venom Spray canister (complete w/strap) and "Web-Sword" Spider Grappling Hook (glue repair at center), which is missing hook and rope. Separate Spider figure is also missing. Tank exhibits moderate melt marks. Boots, belt and mask are Exc. Tiny fleck of silver paint on back of fabric belt, but o/w suit is clean. Exc. and about as nice as they come. Ready for display. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
