As with previous item #234, this is one of three different figurines produced by this Italian company depicting Donald as a golfer. Rarest of the three varieties. Underside has company mark and series number "W.56." c. 1947. This figurine depicts Donald with an angry expression on his face, original removable wood club slung over one shoulder and on the back of the base by his feet is a cricket. Cricket has tiny glaze flake on one eye. Tip of Donald's tail has two minute glaze nicks but o/w remains totally bright and glossy. Still retains an Exc. appearance. Striking design. $3000- $4000
