Item Description
Original box w/punch-out display lid contains black pair of size 8.5 "Washable Arch Cushion Canvas Footwear" sneakers w/rubber soles/toe covers. Randolph Mfg. Co. c. 1950s. Box has Howdy Doody images on all four sides as well as larger image on lid/box bottom w/smaller portraits of Clarabell, Mr. Bluster and Princess. Display lid has been punched and has moderate dust soiling. .25" tear at center left. Box is Fine/VF overall. Sneakers have color Howdy image on each shoe as well as "Howdy Doody" rubber name on back of heel. Interior of shoe also has Howdy image on insole. Sneakers show just lt. evidence of use and come w/original packing paper. Exc. Rare.
