Item Description
2.25x5.75x11" box contains 10.5" long plated die-cast gun with beautiful engraving and plastic simulated ivory grips with a steer and horse head on them. Marx. ©1960 Four Star. Illustrations on box of Don Durant Star Of Four Star TV Series Johnny Ringo. Box shows aging/handling wear w/brown moisture staining. VG. Rare dragoon-style gun with unusual firing mechanism activated by the lanyard ring at base of grip. This ring was to be attached to leather thongs that were also to be attached to belt, this fired gun without use of a trigger. Unfired Marx gun has age toning to plated finish and a spot on grip bottom from prolonged box storage. VF/Exc. Comes with 9.5" tall textured vinyl "Fast Draw" holster w/tie-down strap as issued. Holster is embossed w/"Johhny Ringo", "Four Star" and "Marx" text. Exc. Scarce set as boxed.
