Item Description
5x14.75x23" cardboard box contains 1950s Marx unused set #3758 playset. Box is variety w/artwork of playset on lid (first we've offered). Box has lt. aging/wear. Box remains tight. Box is VF overall. Has complete set of character figures including Zorro and his horse Tornado (however in this set his horse in molded in ivory), Don Diego, Don Alejandro, Bernardo, El Commandante, Sgt. Garcia. All accesories are in original aged factory bags. Items include Round Hat Mexican figures in powder blue and saddled horses. Other pieces include cannon, small parts. Included pieces are the Zorro "Z" flag, trees, ferns and vacuformed plastic cave. The mostly tin litho building is flat as issued, including wall sections, front gate w/separate doors and hard plastic roof and balcony sections. Tin parts have scattered lt. traces of wear from storage. Contents are NM. Includes instructions sheet and never seen red "Caution" paper about firing projectiles. Lt. wear. VF. Consignor purchased this set factory sealed, carefully popped staples (still intact on lid) to examine contents. All contents are as produced and undisturbed in original bags as produced by Marx and NM as issued. Marx Warehouse File Copy from the famous Scala/Bowers Acquisition and subsequent auctions.
