Item numbers 955 through 2671 in auction 190
Item Description
Each is a 1930s litho 1-1/8" by Greenduck issued to promote "Sunday Herald & Examiner" newspaper in Chicago. We believe six in set with Capt. Katzenjammer missing. Each has a few widely scattered small scratches generally 1/16" but all are VF with gloss and unfaded color. Mickey is rarest of the series and has realized over $400 as a single button. His four companions are Barney Google, Pete the Tramp, Tillie the Toiler and Skippy.
