Item Description
2.75x6.5" on cotton still attached to the original 7" long wooden pole. Canton has four stars and the flag features additional text "Add Another (Star) To The Flag Of Free States." Produced between 1896 and 1910 when Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Idaho were the only states who had granted suffrage. It's likely this flag was used at the Oct. 29, 1908 suffrage parade in Boone, IA- among the first such parades in the US. Horizontal folds and moderate even fading throughout. Fine. Rare.
