9x12" program w/16 pages for the July 4, 1923 heavyweight championship bout held in Shelby, MT between Jack Dempsey and Tommy Gibbons. Dempsey retained the title w/a 15-round unanimous decision. Program features content on both fighters as well as covering lead-up to the fight and articles about Shelby, Montana and the Wild West. Vertical fold at center w/scattered cover wear including moisture staining along bottom edge of cover w/faint staining to bottom of first page. Some white spotting/discoloration to Gibbons' cover portrait. VG/Fine.
