Item Description
4x6x4" tall beautifully painted and glazed ceramic piece features long-billed Donald Duck figure looking up at viewer as he holds edges of scalloped candy dish w/raised floral design on front. Underside bears marks for this Italian company including "W.27" and hand-lettered "Made In Italy" text in gold. The company signed a contract w/Disney in 1947 that lasted about ten years. Typical crazing w/some scattered staining along craze lines on interior of dish. Pinpoint flake to tip of Donald's bill, o/w VF/Exc. Rare and first we've seen in our 54 years.
