Item Description
Unlike the Macy's pre-printed form letters, these three letters are typed to a specific recipient. Two letters, dated Nov. 7 and Dec. 11, 1940 are both addressed to Josef Kleinkauf from Deborah Knapp in reference to Toyland staff and Superman Adventure rain check program. Other letter is dated Nov. 27, 1940 and is addressed to Toyland and Superman Adventure staff from Knapp in reference to toy giveaway. Matching letterhead design includes full figure image of Superman and "S" symbol. First two letters list four sponsors while last lists three sponsors. All remain unfolded and NM.
