Item Description
We have seen these figurines in two sizes, this is the smaller-scale set w/Snow White standing 7" tall and the Dwarfs are each approx. 4" tall. Beautifully painted and glazed ceramic set, undersides have various markings for this Italian company. Several also have series number including Snow White which is "W1." Those w/visible numbers on the Dwarfs are 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8. Zaccagnini signed a contract with Disney in 1947 which lasted for about ten years. They made some of the finest Disney figurines ever produced and this is certainly a striking set. Some small scattered glaze/paint flakes; Snow White has 1/8" flake to hair bow, tiny flake to tip of foot and is Fine/VF; Sleepy has three along back bottom edge of shirt (one w/color touch-up) and two flakes to belt buckle and is Fine; Doc has small flake to tip of foot, brim of hat and finger and is Fine; Happy has small flake on side of foot and is Fine/VF. Rest are glossy and Exc. All pieces by this company are rare and this is just the second complete Snow White set we've offered in our 54 years.
