Item Description
"The Air Adventures Of Jimmie Allen" thrilled its radio listeners from 1933 to 1947. A plethora of premiums and promotional items were made for a variety of sponsors. All items in this lot are from the 1930s and issued by the Mid-West sponsor Skelly Oil. Two highlights are the rare 1935 metal "Air Races" bracelet and scarce 1936 pin. Other "smalls" are: two different wings badges and airplane badge. Paper items are: three different membership cards, window sticker, flight lessons #2-5, road map, countries visited map (worn w/tape repairs), Holiday newsletter, Air Battles booklet, postcard, album w/set of 14 pages and cover. Final item is boxed "Thunderbolt" balsa wood model. Two cards and sticker mounted to paper sheet. Scattered wear/aging but overall lot mostly Fine to Exc. An extensive, instant collection. Some items are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
