Item Description
Ideal produced three different Munsters hand puppets in 1964, sold either bagged or boxed. ©1964 Kayro-Vue Productions. 6x8x3" deep illustrated display box features photo of The Munsters cast on back panel w/illustrations of Grandpa and Herman Munster on side panels. Box has obvious wear but is complete w/both cardboard inserts (box insert and puppet body insert) and all inner flaps. Top flap is loose. Inside of box has had reinforcement added to underside of top flap and front panel of box around the cellophane windows, both of which remain intact. Front of box has .5x1.5" strip of surface paper lift from price sticker removal w/some staining from sticker to surrounding area. Bottom panel of box has "Hand Puppet Grandpa" written in black ink w/some scribbling. Box is just Good. 10" tall puppet w/silk-screened design/name on cloth body and soft vinyl head is unused and is NM. While bagged puppets are scarce, the boxed versions are infinitely rarer, this the first example we've offered in our 54 years, presenting a rare opportunity to add a boxed example to your collection.
