Item Description
3.25x5" to 5x7". Included are an original envelope, embossed invitation, ticket and green pass for car windshield. Glue residue as issued on car pass. Otherwise only light handling. VF to Exc. The stop off in Rome was part of the now legendary European jaunt that saw JFK visit his family's native Ireland and deliver his "Ich Bin Ein Berliner" speech in West Berlin. In Rome he attended a dinner given in his honor by the Italian president, Antonio Segni, at the Quirinale Palace. This ephemera was issued to Kennedy's former Secretary Helen Lempart who moved to Rome after leaving the White House earlier in 1963. These are the only examples we have encountered in our 54 years.
