Item Description
Quaker Cereal premium from 1939. Large 3/8" dia. wooden pencil of shortened length from sharpening but overall 7" long including aluminum siren whistle cap at upper end. Pencil point on left is hand-sharpened red lead. Pencil point on right, beneath removable cap, is machine-sharpened with blunt blue lead. Barrel inscribed in silver "Dick Tracy Signal Code Pencil." Finish on the aluminum end cap varies slightly with .25" hairline break on bottom but shows little. Siren works. Scarce and Fine.
