Red text around rim edge reads "Clean Comics - Clean Words - Clean Shows - Clean Books." Button was made by Bastian Bros. and is complete with their backpaper. Reverse side has 3 dark stain dots about 1/16" but only one shows on top front edge, just 1/16" dia. above the letter "O" of "COMICS." All else 99% NM with perfect centering. Issued to promote historic comic book launched in late 1934 under the title "New Fun" and was later titled "More Fun" becoming the early cornerstone of the DC Comics empire. We believe this rare comic book "club" button was issued in 1935. 6th seen in  our 40 years.
