Matched pair of 7" tall figural solid painted plaster bookends depicting Grumpy from Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs by LaMode Studios Inc. ©1938 WDE. Front base of each has incised "Grumpy" name and incised Disney copyright on sides of base. Undersides of each complete w/original felt covering. Both are evenly aged w/scattered wear and some paint flaking to bases and one figure's nose. Some small scattered flakes to shirt sleeves, tip of beard and shoes. Fine overall. This company's products are more commonly found in lamp form and night lights; bookends are scarce.
