Item Description
Folded 11x14-7/8" newspaper section opens to 22x29-3/8". Published in Belgium by Les Edition Mondiales Nov. 19, 1947. From L'Astucieux's second year of publication, this is No. 28. Of note, front page uses same title font as that of DC's Action Comics of the period. Front of unfolded sheet has been printed in color and features Superman, Batman and two other titles while back is printed bw and features Pancho Villa, The Steel Arrow and other stories. Paper is newsprint and has evenly aged. Paper is a bit brittle at edges w/some corner foxing and fold lines have some splits, including large 7" split along center fold line. VG overall. Rare. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
