Auction 190 - Part II
Item numbers 955 through 2671 in auction 190
Item Description
Muted brass luster as produced with hanger bar 1.75" long picturing the head of a young aviator with helmet and goggles posed as the front of an airplane. This was a franchise late 1920s-1930s club used to promote the sale of boys clothing. The suspended bar reads "Flight Leader." We thought the only higher designation award is one that reads "Chief Sky Climber" and this was reserved for the head of the clothing store sponsoring the club. However, our next item #1246 changes that and makes this award second highest among club members. Small loss of muted luster. Rare & VF.
