Item Description
Each 1.25" classic anti-axis buttons c. 1942. No maker name on either but with union bug on back of "Kill The Rats" with their nicknames in red by their tails. On "Exterminate These 3 Rats" the nicknames are below. This design is likely the most reproduced button of WWII. This pair has pedigree as both are the plate examples from Collectible Pin-Back Buttons 1896-1986 as well as the buttons photographed for the book (pg 182) Button Power by Carter/Hake. The first NM and the second essentially Mint. Comes w/Hake's COA.
