Item Description
34" long pine cane w/polished Petoskey stone fossilized coral topper. Silver band below stone inscribed "Presented By A Washingtonian To Z Washburn For His Zeal In The Promotion Of Temperance/ Iowa City 1852." A separate silver band spirals down the shaft w/text "Father To Son/ L. H. Washburn." Top of wood shaft is worn from usage and one tiny rivet is missing on spiral silver band. Overall VF. Fascinating and unique.
