Item Description
Lot of three different designed glazed china ashtrays. All stamped "Made In Japan" on undersides, 1930s. Pair of wedge-shaped ashtrays of different depth, one featuring Mickey Mouse playing accordion, the other w/reclining Mickey playing banjo w/Pluto beside him. This one has Disney copyright stamp on back of base and shows some lt. scattered wear to painted black rim accents. Both are Exc. overall. Barrel-shaped ashtray features high relief figures of Mickey playing tuba, Minnie Mouse playing violin w/Pluto between them. Base has incised character names and Disney copyright. This is scarce version produced only for the Canadian market. Aging/soiling to interior and underside w/trace wear to tips of painted noses. VF.
