Item Description
5.75" long. Reflective gold graphic and text. "Delegate/National Nominating Convention/Communist Party May 28-29, 1932/For Unemployment Insurance/Against Imperialist War." Light wear to text and minor handling. VF. This convention nominated William Foster for President and James W. Ford for Vice President. Ford, a veteran of WWI and civil rights activist, was the first African American nominated on a Presidential ticket in the 20th century. See button #425.
