Item Description
4x16.25x28" box contains playset #3720. ©1967 Ivan Tors Films. Atypical Marx box opens on one end instead of standard opening. Box has scattered minor brown staining overall. Lt. aging/wear. Illustrated top panel has images of TV characters and animals including Clarence, the Cross-Eyed Lion. Box is VG. Set includes photocopy instruction sheet, plastic playmat, tin litho trading post, huts, barbwire fence, mountain terrain piece, rocks, palm trees and plants, jeep, numerous small accessories, seven hand painted animals, four cream characters, seven cream hunt figures, 41 African Natives (set calls for 30), yellow small accessories (spears, rifles, shields), Clarence included in a painted and non-painted versions. Two natives have broken arms (included). A couple original sprues are in w/small pieces. Also includes flat stack of original bags and pieces have been sealed in new baggies. Contents VF to Exc. condition. Set appears complete but as there are so many small pieces, something minor may be missing. A very desirable Marx set.
