19x25.5" period frame w/11.75x18" opening. At bottom center margin "Printed At Houghtaling's Cheap Job Printing Office." Emblazoned at top "Lecture!" w/additional text of note "Kennedy Hall, Johnstown, On Friday Evening. October 3, 1862" and "Subject- Self Made Men." Small losses in each corner well masked w/matching matching paper. Pencil notations along right side. Tiny hole at center and handling wear. VG. Not examined out of frame. An impressive and likely unique broadside advertising the speaking engagement by the New York Tribune owner and future presidential candidate.
