Item Description
20.25x26" w/"Copyright 1917 By J.M. Frisby" and "A.B. Graham Co. Wash., DC" in lower margin. Designed for soldier to add their photo at bottom center in frame titled "I Have Responded To My Country's Call." This example has a sepia toned image of "Donald King" who "Enlisted Sept. 25th 1917" and served "Reg. Machine Gun Co." Outstanding graphics throughout notably; "Our War Presidents" at center w/portraits of Washington, Lincoln, McKinley and Wilson who has "World Democracy President" above and at bottom right the Statue of Liberty w/"The Light That Shall Not Fail" in wreath above. Pin hole at top center, waviness from light moisture throughout most notably at top r/l. VG. Outstanding color makes this an impressive WWI display piece.
