Item Description
Larger, 8.5" tall version of previous item. Superbly detailed, long-billed Donald Duck has separate felt ribbon attached to wooden hat. Underside of one foot has hand-inked"For Robert Lesser - Walt Disney's Donald Duck #1 By 'Keith Kaonis' 1981" text. Figure was made for Lesser (1914-2020), noted early aficionado and promoter of comic character toy history and collecting. Wonderful creation by Kaonis, known for his one-of-a-kind/extremely limited wooden Disney and other folk art creations. Recently restrung, stands well for display. Exc.
