Item Description
2" tall fob with strap (modern) with same figural boxing glove encompassing Willard but unlike previous item, this is embossed and thinner (not cast) brass in bright luster and with enamel paint flag accents. In defeating Johnson (by knockout in the 26th round of their Cuban fight in 1915) Willard became Heavyweight Champion and this fob was made for use post- Johnson and until Willard's 1919 beating and 3rd round TKO by Jack Dempsey.
