Item Description
1.75" with spring pin holding lightly aged ribbon. Wolcott became heavyweight champ with 1951 defeat of Ezzard Charles. This button was likely made for his 1952 fight with Rocky Marciano ( see next lot). This is not the Muchinsky book example as that shows numerous age spots while this has just age traces on rim edge and upper left. VF. Rare. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
