Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 10.5" tall classic battery toy. Marx, ©1964. Box is complete w/original cardboard inserts, which has "Yeti The Snowman Will Not Walk With His Arms Raised" label. Lid has even aging and edge/corner tip wear, w/more moderate wear at lower right corner. Fine overall. Comes w/The Story Book Of Yeti - The Abominable Snowman small booklet. Toy has plush-covered body w/hard vinyl face/hands and tin litho feet. Attached tin litho remote control unit depicts snow-covered landscape. This controls several different functions as knob is rotated w/actions listed box including - "He Grunts And Walks - He Raises Arms And Shrieks," his head raising/lowering, opening mouth. Yeti's shriek is incredibly loud and ear-piercing. White plush exhibits just lt. aging. Works and displays Exc. One of the most desirable battery-operated toys of the 1960s.
