Item Description
Lot of three items from rare comic book club kit devoted to Buddhist superhero character The Green Lama, who first appeared in comic books in Crestwood Publications' Prize Comics #7 (Dec. 1940). Lot includes original envelope w/"Green Lama Club" return address and handwritten recipient name/address. Envelope has uneven left edge as opened and shows obvious wear w/2" tear at top center. Good. Unused 2.5x4.25" illustrated membership card No. 49675 features Green Lama portrait and printed signature. Exc. 8.5x11" single-sided Green Lama code chart is folded as mailed w/lt. scattered handling wear/aging. VF. All are scarce and membership card is rare as unsigned.
