Pair of 8.5x11.5" hardcover binders w/gold foil "House Of Hammer" title and "Hammer" logo contain issues #1-23, published by General Book Distribution, Warner House/Top Sellers Ltd., Columbia-Warner House Oct. 1976 to Aug. 1978. Britain's answer to Famous Monsters Of Filmland and other horror/monster magazines of the era, content includes features on past and present horror movies as well as actor/actresses w/special emphasis on Hammer horror films. Expanded description online. Issues come in special binders that were ordered directly from the magazine and are rarely seen. These show lt. corner tip wear and first binder is o/w Exc. Second binder has some scattered edge wear and .5" surface scuff on front. VF. Magazines show varying degrees of handling wear/aging and are Fine to Exc. Great horror content.
