Item Description
2.5x3.5". The 1957-58 Topps basketball card series consists of a total of 80 cards and represents Topps' initial foray into the basketball trading card market. It would be another 12 seasons before Topps would issue its second nationally released basketball card set in 1969. Card backs provide statistical information for the 1956-57 NBA season. Boston Celtics. Cousy was a 6-time World Champion, 13-time All-Star, NBA MVP and 6-time Assist Leader. Cousy was the offensive catalyst, leading the Boston Celtics of the 1950s and 1960s to numerous NBA titles, teaming with fellow HOF'er, Bill Russell to form one of the top combos in NBA history. Bob was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1971.
