Item Description
3.5x4-3/8" w/256 pages in Big Little Book (BLB) format. Published in Argentina by Editorial Abril SA in 1951 as part of their Pequeños Grandes Libros line. Book was published specifically for the Argentinian market in this BLB format. The Misterix character, a sort of local Superman, first appeared in weekly adventures in 1946, w/comic books published in Argentina between 1948 and 1965. Back is blue variety w/comic character titles. Book shows corner tip/edge wear to covers and pages have aged to cream in color w/darker margins. Inside front cover and a few pages have scattered insect tunneling. Tight binding. VG overall. Rare and the only copy we've offered in our 54 years. A must for BLB collectors and/or early superhero collectors. Larry Lowery Collection.
