Item Description
4.25x6.25x12.5" original cardboard box w/illustrated lid complete w/inserts contains 11.5" long tin litho race car w/rubber tires. Plastic windshield/steering wheel, vinyl half driver. Plated open wheels and side exhaust pipe. Nicely detailed including Mercedes logo on grill, dashboard instruments panel and shock absorber images at each wheel. By Alps, Japan. Manual steering front wheels. Working functions include two speeds forward and exhaust smoke, which makes for a great effect. Box has tape repairs on inside of top on all corners and in center. One corner has split. Generic blue bottom has some color fading but solid w/inserts. Box is VG. Scattered scratches, nicks over painted surface. Lt. aging/wear. Tin racer displays Fine overall.
