Item Description
2x6.25x6.5" long bronze plated cast metal figure. Reverse of hollow plaster filled base marked "Swaffield" copyright "1921." Front of base reads "Laddie Boy" and top of base, beneath dog, reads "Guarding Our President" w/the first letter of each word forming "GOP". In Laddie Boy's mouth is a "Marion Star" newspaper. Only trivial handling wear. Exc. Only the second we have encountered in our 54 years. A terrific Harding display piece from the Mike Nichols Collection.
