Item Description
2" tall corn cob pipe. 1-5/8" tall jugate paper label w/names below candidates portraits. A .5" loss at top left corner of label just affecting the very top of Taft's head. 5" long wood stem. Bottom label reads "Missouri Meerschaum" Pat. 1878 Dash H. Tiber & Sons Mfg. The "Meerschaum" is obviously a self-deprecating country reference for the very popular and expensive German Meerschaum pipes. VG. Fascinating and rare.
