Item Description
Set consists of 10" dia. officer's cap with band reading "Sergeant Bilko." This band and brim of hat are vinyl covered. Fabric of hat has dust soiling and wear from use. Fine/VF. 9.5" long leather holster with text "USA" and "US Army" with eagle emblem contains 6.75" long metal "military" cap-firing pistol. Very detailed design work, with some wear to paint on raised design on handle grips. 29" long (including buckle) leather belt with metal buckle having repeat eagle emblem. All is VF/Exc. Last item is 3.5x5" flocked fabric "Sgt. Bilko" patch/arm band with elastic strap on back so as to be worn around arm. Aged VF. J. Halpern Co. c. late 1950s. Comes with a color photocopy of side panel of the box this set originally came in.
