Item Description
5.25x6.25x26.75" box contains massive two foot long steel Turnpike Auto Transport car hauler. Made in Japan by Shioji & Co. for Sears, Roebuck and Co. Features 9" loading ramp, 28 rubber wheels, nine steel friction powered 1960s cars (Ferrari, Mercedes, Rolls Royce, Lark, Opel, MG, Citroen, T-Bird and Rambler Wagon). C. 1960s. Box lid has some tape and some tear seals, lt. creases, two small punctures but no holes, name on lid in marker, few small tears but still displays bright and clean. VG with repairs. Hauler itself has lt. aging/wear, some minor scratches/nicks. Cars are very nice with lt. aging/wear. Some minor nicks. Rolls Royce has additional wear/scratches on roof. Overall toy hauler and cars display bright and clean. VF overall. Deak Stagemyer Collection.
