Item Description
6.25x13.75x1.75" deep cardboard box w/nicely illustrated lid label contains toy w/overall size of 6.25x10.5x11.5" tall (15.75" to top of raised flag/counterweight). Nifty Toy made in Japan and distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt & Co., 1930s. There were several variations of this toy w/different lid images and color variations for the attached celluloid figures. Box lid label features nice illustration of the toy and has Walt E. Disney copyright. Box lid has glue repairs to one split corner as well as .75" side panel tear. Lid has another .75" side panel tear and shows scattered aging/wear. Box is Fine/VF overall. Label has some tiny edge wear and displays VF. Toy has metal frame w/built-in key and folding counterweight on top of frame. Attached celluloid figures of Mickey and Minnie Mouse are each about 5" tall. Toy works perfectly, figures swing back and forth and do somersaults. Minnie has remnant of original Japanese inspection label on her backside. Figures retain strong color and are free from any defect. VF/Exc. and as nice as these come.
