Item Description
Original lidded box contains 18" tall Geppetto doll, who holds marionette controller in his hand, which is attached to 9" tall Pinocchio doll. Fully jointed dolls are constructed of molded felt and carved Alpine maple w/lifelike hair and are of the highest quality, all hallmarks a Wright creation is known for. Geppetto has original "Pinocchio" storybook tag booklet attached at wrist and original tag is still attached at waist. End of box has applied label reading "Walt Disney's Geppetto & Pinocchio - Series 1 - Marionette." Both dolls are of the highest quality, and were issued as part of a limited edition of 500 in 1995 by R. John Wright Dolls Inc. Box label notes "171/500" edition number. Comes w/cardstock folder containing R. John Wright Dolls, Inc. COA w/matching edition number as well as "R. John Wright Collector Club" card. Dolls are NM as issued in box, which shows some scattered wear and are VF/Exc.
