Item Description
Lot of 13 from early 1900s. Ranging in size from 1.75" to 4" long and 2" to 2.25" tall. Four ducks included, two are marked Italy, third is bisque rather than compo and fourth is floating style with flat base. Floating duck has holes for legs but they were not mounted in this particular instance. Four pigeons include two different on smaller scale and two similar on slightly larger scale. There is one chicken. There are 4 pheasants each stamped Germany under the tail. Golden pheasants are similar but different poses and painting. Some of the metal feet have slight paint loss, however lot is overall Exc. condition and beautifully painted. These well-made birds were often used for Christmas displays under the tree.
