Item Description
Four die-cut stiff paper masks, each about 7x9”. Set of three issued by Northern Paper Mills. 1933. Included in set are Akut the Ape, Numa the Lion and two Tarzan masks. Second Tarzan mask has “Crescent” flour imprint on reverse. This is the first example of this imprint variety we’ve seen. Lion mask has remnant of one rubberband melted to front of mask which blends with design somewhat. Light wear with .25x.75” area of surface paper lift on right-hand side of Tarzan variety mask. Fine/VF overall.
